MY HEART AS 2023 CLOSES.

I have wept so much this year.

Tears of great joy and tears of great sorrow.
Moments where I’m filled with such faith for my generation,
and other times when I’m utterly distraught by our corporate brokenness.

More sin is going to come to the surface.
More fathers are going to fail.
More brothers are going to betray.
More deception is going to rise.

But as 2023 comes to an end I’m reminded of this:
Jesus, faithful and true Jesus,
is standing in Heaven as a slain Lamb and a roaring Lion.

He alone has CONQUERED sin and death and the devil,
and He WILL have His pure and spotless Bride presented to Him by the Father.

He’s coming back soon for her.
And He WILL drive sin off the planet and rule the earth perfectly when He does.

The ZEAL OF THE LORD will accomplish this.
